As the protagonist, your mission is to outsmart the hunter's devious traps while strategically maneuvering through treacherous terrain. Mastering tactics like utilizing hiding spots and deploying diversionary maneuvers is crucial for survival. The game's turn-based mechanics intensify the suspense, leading to a climactic race to unlock the elusive purple door and secure your freedom.
Throughout the development of Cryptid, my role was central to the creation of key game assets. I led the design and implementation of the Tile system, a groundbreaking feature that redefines movement mechanics within the game. This sophisticated system dynamically generates an interconnected network of tiles, providing seamless navigation as players strategically traverse the environment.
Additionally, I innovated the star system, a dynamic feature integrated across various game levels. This system drives player engagement by presenting a range of challenging objectives, each offering gratifying rewards upon completion.
